Hello!
I’m Julia, also known as junoregen, and I’m a freelance illustrator based in Germany.
With a love for all things vintage and ephemeral, I draw inspiration from the past while keeping my work modern and fresh with vibrant colour palettes and eye-catching textures.
I enjoy telling stories through my artwork and hope to spark curiosity, evoke emotions, and create happy and meaningful moments in everyday life.
In addition to my illustration work, you can also find my art on Instagram, where I share my latest creations, host art challenges, and connect with fellow art enthusiasts.
Selected Clients: HP, Skillshare, CASETiFY, Birdhouse Skateboards, Flow Magazine, Reber R41, Esmé Wang, CYL Studio, AWW Magazine
My work has been showcased by Penguin Random House, RetroSupply Co., Imparfaite and others.
Besides illustration, I have a huge passion for:
I am captivated by the wonders of astronomy and space exploration.
I love to watch documentaries, delve into books detailing space missions, and eagerly tune in to watch live launches.
I appreciate the unconventional storytelling by directors like Godard, Varda, or Demy. The way they break the rules and blend intellect and emotion in their films fascinates me.
I love the range of styles of bands such as Pixies, Modest Mouse, or Sonic Youth. I enjoy hunting for records in thrift stores and read about the stories behind the albums.
